Not removing but changing. They have already gone from (semi-) freshly prepared onboard meals on the one-night eastern long haul trains to pre-packaged / re-heated meals (so-called "Flexible Dining"). No plans to permanently do that on the two-night western long hauls yet, although they have done so (supposedly) temporarily through May 31 due to Covid.
