Dinner: I Carracci Bologna
The first evening we had dinner at I Carracci restaurant at Majestic hotel. The restaurant is elegant with an impressive ceiling.
The menu is classic, we choosed a la carte.
Amuse Bouche:
First Courses
The risotto with pears was very tasteful, the soup with fish and pasta special. I found it good, my GF didn´t like it.
The main courses:
The fried seafood with salad was not really my taste as it was very rustic. The amberjack with polenta was pretty good.
For dessert a Bolognese trifle, which was good:
Petit fours:
They claim to be the best restaurant in Bologna, what I can´t confirm. But our dinner was good, even if I personally would choose other dishes next time.

I like to see other people's take of places that are very familiar to me (my father was from Bologna). Interesting collection of churches, looking forward to the rest to see if you missed two important ones (history and art). By the way, the Baglioni was considered dated when I was a teenager (I'm 65!)! I see that very little has changed.

Santa Maria della Vita (Saint Mary of Life) (Via Clavature), has an amazing wooden sculpture

Santo Stefano, also known as "Le sette chiese" (Seven Churches), it is a complex of seven churches all together, one of them (San Vitale and Agricola) was built using bits of a Roman Temple and you can see some of the original mosaic floor (covered at some points in history).
I just noticed you saw the seven churches
