one guy being really excited to do this flight and who was very chatty and friendly like most of the crew as well, it just seemed like everyone on the aircraft had a great time.

Nice one! This route is a total dream for me, my idea is to do an around the world trip and somehow incorporate this route on it. So far my research shows that one of my best options would be Copenhagen-JFK via Gatwick with Norwegian, then hop on this flight from Newark to Singapore, then Singapore-Copenhagen with Air India via Delhi. All together the tickets would be around 1350EUR...let's see.
