BKK CNX on an A359 TG Y / food in chiang mai

This is probably one of the shortest routes to use an A359. TG is temporarily using it for domestic ops prior to its ultimate purpose of EU and NA longhaul.

why even have an ashtray on an aircraft lav door? my image does not show it but it was to the left and a bit lower than the coat hanger fixture.

tail cam view not very clear, i was hoping for gopro quality.

nice short flight, no booze, fast IFE that did not hang or freeze.

it's so that if someone actually does smoke, they'd rather you dispose it in the ashtray than the trash bin.

I think Airbus needs to look at how the printing on the bathroom waste bin is done. Very worn for a brand new aircraft.

I know very picky, but it just stood out.

Looks a nice interior though.

Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed reading your report.
i remember TG initially using their 787s on that BKK-CNX route in 2014, which gave me a chance to try a 787 for the first time.

street noodles chiang mai

no name cart near northwest corner, a deal for 50 THB

somewhere in arak rd, utility grade at utility price, 40 THB

sunday night walking market, meh, 40 THB

sunday night walking market, so much meat on skewers. will definitely come back for more.

duck noodles, also in arak road, 50 THB.

Nice to have sensibly priced food all around. I was in Tokyo for a week prior to this trip and the difference of daily cost of living is staggering.
