One of my favourite trip reports ever! I literally spent hours reading this, combined with searching Wikipedia for background on some of those ships.

By the way, I get the impression you like burgers?

Super unique report. The island hopper has always seemed interesting but I think it would be cool to spend a day in some of those more remote islands.

Besides enjoying the scenery outside the window, there isn't much you can do on a plane. Thanks for the feedback, sexykitten7.

Burgers and steaks, yes. Although people often complain about American cuisine (thinking fast food), they certainly know how to handle meat.
And I am happy that you enjoyed the trip report so much. Thanks Schwann.

Thanks ChiefNWA. It certainly would be worthwhile to spend some time there. It is so much different from Europe, where I am from. It was the same with the Alaska Milk Run, I felt ashamed to get there just for the flights.

This is such a cool and unique idea, and a great story. Thank you for sharing it with us. Have you considered sending this to Boeing's social media or PR team? I imagine they'd send you some swag if you care about such things.

Excellent report! You are clearly someone with a lot of determination for your Hobbies.

Thank you ssbmoro. I contacted Boeing before the trip to inquire about a Renton facility tour, but they declined.

Thank you aidy. The Island Hopper is certainly fun, but someone should also consider spending some time on the islands.

Thanks alexwuk. If you travel this far, you have to make the most out of it. Uhmm, what could possible be those other things you could do in EY Apartments or even The Residence if traveling with your +1?
