DanielW joins the mod team
 

I'd delighted to announce that trip reporter extraordinaire DanielW has joined madone59 as comoderator for this forum. Eritrea - Iraq - Turkmenistan - Frontlines against ISIS - places you might never think to go - he's been there and taken us along on his travels. Moomba has kept a gentle hand on this forum for several years and is now ready to step away. madone59 is remaining and will be comod with DanielW. We do our best to provide training for new moderators. I've asked NWIflyer, one of the excellent moderators in the British Airways forum, to spend a few weeks here helping DanielW know what buttons to push and when.

Please welcome DanielW for giving still more to FlyerTalk and thank moomba for all that he's given. We hope he'll still stop by and share news of his travels from time to time.

A huge thank you to Moomba for all of his hard work, and yes we still search out your amazing TR Moomba so hopefully you will have time for some more.

This is my favorite part of Flyertalk - infact I don't spend much time anywhere else, so I hope that you are able to keep this a forum where all people are welcomed and respected regardless of the different places in culture we come from.

There is much we can all learn from each other .

Nice. I really need to get my crap together and post my trip to Taiwan last sept. Along with a whole string of others too. I am so lazy even though my self imposed moratorium on TR's is long done...

Don't want to dredge up an old thread, but has anyone kept tabs on DanielW? He hasn't posted here since 2021 and didn't respond to a DM.
