FT rules prevent me from expressing my feelings.
I agree, there's certainly a variety of views regarding this...

I have now updated the first part of the safari report to lunchtime on day 2.

Brilliant update! Loved the animal pics and the food at the lodge (especially the evening meal) looked top class!

Already looking forward to the next part!

Oh my Word! It's longer and even more colourful than I expected! But stunning, up there with the best! Well done, can't wait for the rest.

I liked the caption "Delicious impala". I've only had delicious kudu and delicious springbok so far ... perhaps next trip?

This is a Lilac Breasted Roller. What a stunning example. Your photographs are absolutely stunning - thank you.
Looking forward to the remainder.

Thanks all! The area is just wonderful for photography, so I was truly lucky!

Apologies for the delay in posting, but real life has somewhat got in the way!

I have now added in the latest piece of the report, our final full day at Jamala Madikwe, as well as a time-lapse of approximately 40 elephants at the watering hole and a video summarising day 2 on safari.

I found the time-lapse elephant video quite fascinating. I'm guessing that was the Alpha-Female/Matriarch checking things out before the rest of the herd joined, and that she stayed until last to ensure everyone had left safely. Whatever the case, it was VERY interesting behaviour by a very intelligent species.

As for the latest bath of photos ... you've enough compliments to keep you going for a fortnight
