The next morning we had another good breakfast in The Porte restaurant. The plan was to do some spotting until 11am and then hire a car with the driver to take us around Jakarta.

I've been on the roof deck for about two hours when manager came and kindly informed me that I will have to move from the roof in 15 minutes, because the deck was reserved for some group.
That's ok, I will find another spot to take pictures from. I've studied google earth and found location in the hotel's garden. I went to the lobby and asked for directions to the garden. They've told me to wait a minute.
Soon somebody came and told me to follow them. Golf cart was waiting for me in the front driveway
I've showed the lady (my driver) location where I would like to go. She knew where to go. Couple of minutes later I was in the garden. However that spot was terrible for pictures. On google earth I couldn't see tall trees blocking the view of final approach. I started following the tree line, finally I found nice spot. It was right in front of the AJ Brandon restaurant and second main entrance to the hotel.

The girl on the golf cart parked near by, and said that when I'm ready to go back she will drive me. It was very nice of her but not necessary. Now I knew my way around the hotel.
To cut long story short, the weather got nasty. I've returned to my room and started planning the day.

To wait out the rain we went to the coffee shop Lulu Lala. Got some great coffee and Indonesian snack. It was very similar to Polish croquet (the one you get with the borsch). The only difference was the peanut based sauce and potatoes inside. It was very delicious.

Once in a while I would go outside to see if the weather improved. No luck.

After couple of hours we scrapped the plans of visiting the city and went to AJ Brandon restaurant for lunch.

To start we've got chicken satay with peanut sauce (very tasty), got some fried calamari and some delicious shrimps.

Late afternoon the weather has improved. It stopped raining and it was very humid.
Before the dinner we went to the Montezuma roof top bar to have cocktail or two, and of course to watch some planes

For dinner we went back to The Porte. I don't think we were hungry, but the food was so good and we had nothing else to do
We've got quesadillas, Thai papaya salad and more shrimps. To wash it down my girlfriend got cucumber juice and I've got my last Bintang beer.

The next morning we were leaving Jakarta and going back to Bangkok.

CGK - DMK
Thai Lion
SL119
Boeing 737-900ER
HS-LTQ
Seat 2A
Actual flying time 3:15hrs

Early in the morning we went to The Porte restaurant to have a breakfast. I like that place because they start serving breakfast at 4am. Not many hotels do that. If you have early flight, most of the time you have to forfeit your breakfast at the hotel.
Our flight was departing at 10:30am and I wanted to do some more spotting from the terminal before our flight. We wanted to leave at 7:30am, however when I went to book the shuttle I found out that they leave for the airport on the hour. So it was either 7am or 8am.
7am was too early and 8am was too late. At the front lobby I've asked one of the employees how much is taxi to the airport. He said that around 12.000 to 15.000 Indonesian Rupiah, which is in the worst case $1 and 12 cents. So I've asked them to get me taxi to the airport.
The bell boy told me that they will take us right now in the hotel's shuttle anyway. That's another plus for FM7 Resort hotel. During our entire stay, from the arrival at the airport, to the departure, they were very accommodating. Whatever you wanted, they made sure to make you happy.
I would definitely stay at that property again. Not only you get outstanding service, but they also have 2 very nice restaurants on property with The Porte being great.

After short 10 minutes ride to the airport we got off and started looking for check in desks. There are none before security. It took couple of minutes and we were in bazaar like area. People everywhere and not even one information sign. I've located Lion Air ticket office and asked the lady where should we go to check in. She told us the lane number and said that the desk will be open 2 hours before the flight.
In my opinion, that's not too good for airport business. If you queue 2 hours before your fight, then wait another 30 minutes to clear the immigration, you don't have much time to do duty free shopping or to eat something.

Anyway, we were one of the first in the queue when they open the desk. Another thing that I find odd is that you don't have airline employees checking you in, but instead you have 'generic' airport employee. With airline employees you get somehow good service, with airport employee you get automatic service. They don't give a damn about anything. I was wondering if Thai Lion contracts some ground handling service at CGK, but looking at other airlines' desks I saw that all check in agents are airport employees.

Our turn came and the disappointment with it... The agent took our passports and gave us boarding passes with 7A and 7B seats. I've asked the guy if we can have 2A and 2B. His answer was short 'No!'. He said that first 5 rows are reserved for deadheading airline employees. Never heard that bull before. Really? 29 seats being saved for airline employees? The preferred seat assignment that I've paid for is only good for seats between rows 6 and 9. There was no arguing with this guy. But I've told him that I've paid for Lion Fast so I want my priority tag on my bags. He ripped off the tags from the bags and reprinted new ones with tiny word 'Priority' on it.
Then he pointed us to another desk to check with his coworkers. As we've paid for Lion Fast they will take us through immigration.
The young guy took our passports and ask us to follow him. The lane for the immigration was huge. However, he took us to an empty Diplomatic Passports Only window. We didn't even talk to the immigration agent. Got our stamps and we were in the terminal on our way to the gate.
I've made short pit stop and when I came back from the bathroom that young guy was looking for me. Did I forgot something?

It turned out that he overheard my conversation with the check in guy about getting seats 2A and 2B. He knew that I wasn't too happy about it.
He asked me about our passports and boarding passes. Then he disappeared. Less then 5 minutes later he came back with our passports and new boarding passes for seats 2A and 2B. I tipped him generously (as I still had half a backpack of local currency) and we went to do duty free shopping.

As we've enjoyed coffee in Indonesia, we've got a lot of it. By the time we've finished the shopping it was almost time to board.
Before the boarding, you have to go through another security lane. Then you walk to the remote gate area where they check your tickets.
The gate agent told us that after they board all people they will take us in separate van. I've said it's ok, we will go on the bus. I wanted to take some pictures so going last didn't work for me.
The bus came and we were on our way to the remote stand.

While taxing for departure I was able to take some pictures of arriving traffic.

After lenghty taxi to the runway, we finally took off bound for Bangkok Don Mueang.

Again, there was no service. Not even free water. You have to pay for everything.
After 3 hours we were descending into DMK airport.

We were parked at the gate area, but there was no jetway connected. Flight Attendant asked over PA to raise hands if you have Lion Fast service.
Again, we were the only two people. We've deplaned the aircraft first into the waiting car. They took us straight to the immigration.
The lanes were even bigger than the ones at BKK airport. It took about one hour to clear the immigration and go to the baggage claim.
Then we've got Uber and went to Hilton DoubleTree hotel at Sukhumvit. It was Sunday early afternoon, but the traffic in the city was horrendous.

Check in was fast and we were in the micro-elevators going to our room.

This time I didn't pay for an upgrade. Just got regular room. We were staying there only for one night.
We've checked the bar and swimming pool on the 7th floor, and decided against it. Again, the deepest part was 4 feet.
Instead we went outside looking for some food. We found local place with Thai dishes.
We've got Larb mu (pork), kaphrao gai (chicken) and fried fish with fried basil. Our lunch was during the alcohol curfew time, but the waitress had no problem serving me Leo beer She just said to keep the beer in the far end of the table
The food was good and for all that we've paid 450 Bahts (around $12).

Walk back to the hotel was painful. We had way too much food. It was time to rest a little.

In the evening we wanted something light. We were still full from our late lunch. Right next to hotel they have tons of Japanese restaurants.
We were window shopping for dinner and decided on small place called Banya (this is the address if you want to try them 10110, 10/5 Sukhumvit Rd, Khwaeng Khlong Tan, Khet Khlong Toei, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110). That place was really small. They only had 8 seats in the front part of the restaurant, and I believe they have 4 tables in the back part.

We had some steamed octopus, some veggies, sashimi with different sauces and to wash it down we had a wine. All that was around 800 Bahts, which is not bad for dinner for two. We really enjoyed the food. That was the best Japanese restaurant I ever been to. I cannot stress this enough, the food was fantastic.

On the way out I've noticed a lot of 'ladies' on the street. On that street alone there were about 5 or 6 massage places.
I've never been to Bangkok's area with 'these' type of places before.
Short walk back to the hotel and we've called it a night.

That was pure luck! Since it wouldn't let me check in online and seatguru doesn't have Thai Lion seat maps I didn't know which seat to select.
rather suprised that they have no OLCI, have never fly SL but I always able do OLCI with JT, ID, and OD (all in same Lion Group). I think seat map for SL is typical with JT as long as it's same aircraft type (737-800, 737-900ER); same story about ID and OD.

anyway, glad you got the perfect seat.

I remember once fly with JT (Lion Air, Indonesia), take the second row emergency seat. surprised that the seat in front of me was missing. then there was FA jumpseat. gorgeous FA sat there, shame she had ring on her finger. small conversation aside, I had to do something else otherwise I'd stare on her awkwardly along the flight.

That cash 2.6 million was bundled up with 50 000 bank notes being the biggest one. I had a lot of bank notes They gave me envelope to put the money in. It was huge

As soon as I've returned, the hotel guy said that the shuttle is waiting for us upstairs. The airport employee took our cart and we went upstairs to the waiting van. As I didn't know how much I should tip him (in local currency) I gave him US$. He was very happy.

Ride to our hotel FM7 Resorts took about 10 minutes. We finally arrived at the hotel few minutes before midnight.
hurrah! millionaire!

typically tipping a piece of blue (Rp 50,000) is customary. a piece of red (Rp 100,000) then you're being generous.

I've downloaded the app and I've tried online. It was telling me that I have to check in at the desk.

I've checked on the internet when we got to our room, what is the typical gratitude in the restaurants and hotels.
Everybody was saying that 50.000 is good. Few other guys got little more and they were very happy, especially at the end of our trip when I still had more local money than I knew what to do with it

Thanks for reading. Soon I will post report from the next two legs in Oman Air. One of them was way below average.

I can't believe I still didn't finish this TR. However I've been swamped at work and travel extensively.
Sunday I'm flying for work to another location, and I guess I will finally find time in the hotel after work to complete this TR.

Next morning we went for the breakfast and coffee to the near by Starbucks. It was my first visit to this establishment in Thailand and I can tell you that the prices were high. They are basically the same as in any Starbucks store in US.
I had to take care of the business at Athenee Tower, which was the reason why we've stayed at this DT hotel. Walk to BTS station was 5 minutes, however it was already so hot at 9am that I've opted for Uber. The Uber ride took about 25 minutes, it would be probably faster if we've walked there
By 10am we were done and decided to take BTS train which was right outside the tower. I don't remember how much was the ticket, but around 25 Bahts per person. Our hotel was only 3 or 4 stops away. Ten minutes later we were walking to our hotel.

Around 11am we've checked out from the hotel. Requested Uber and waited downstairs. When our ride arrived, the bell boys asked twice if that was our ride. They were speaking in Thai and laughing. Our car was pick up track with extended cab Mitsubishi Triton. The ride back to Suvarnabhumi Ville hotel was 320 Bahts.

At the check in we were greeted by the same nasty front desk girl as before. But this time she didn't ask me to pay extra for second card for the room. Our bags were taken and we went to the same building as during our previous stay.
This time she put us in the room with two single beds. I went back downstairs and told her that I've paid for king size bed. She was just being a B and said that all other rooms are full (which was a lie, the hotel had about 30% occupancy rate at that time).
Anyway, since we were there inconveniencing her, I didn't want to argue. I went back to our room and moved the beds together. The floor was slick and they were sliding away after a while.

Since I didn't want to support that hotel anymore, we went to the restaurant near by. In there we ran into our Uber driver who was having a lunch.
This time we just got chicken knees as appetizer and fried fish. Total 310 Bahts (about $8). I never had chicken knees, but they were actually pretty good.

These are the chicken knees

And deep fried fish with garlic

Our lunch was pretty good and we headed back to our room. I grabbed my camera and went to the other building to take pictures of the airplanes.

Front desk girl stopped me and asked if I'm going to the roof. I've told her that yes, I'm going to be on the roof until 6pm. Then she gave me the same BS that we have to wait for the manager so I can sign the form. I've told her that when the manager comes, she can find me on the roof and she can bring that form to sign. I went to the roof deck, this time without an escort of 3 employees.
After about 20 minutes, one of the bell boys came with the form for me to sign. He was very apologetic and I could tell that he felt uneasy asking me to sign that stupid form. I've signed the form and continued to take the pictures.

After 6pm when it was getting dark, I've headed downstairs back to my room. Everybody, including that nasty manager were behind the front desk. But this time they didn't stop me to show them the pictures. I just continued across the parking lot to my building.

For dinner we went back to that local Thai restaurant.

We've got seafood with basil, more chicken knees and Thai style seafood shabu shabu. All that for 350 Bahts ($10).

My seafood dish was spicy as hell. It was so spicy that I had to chase it with the beer and chicken knees I mean every bite.
But was very good.
After the dinner I had to pack for the flight in the morning. But before we went to the room we've stopped at 7-11, I wanted to buy Hong Tong whiskey as a gift. They had regular bottle for 275 Bahts and special Songkran edition with golden dragon on the box for 320 Bahts. I've got the special edition one. In the room, when I was moving the bottle to the wine skin, I've noticed that the bottle is exactly the same as the regular Hong Tong, just the box is 'special' edition

Morning came too soon. It was time to say good bye. I've pre paid for the hotel shuttle back to BKK airport. The mini van was waiting outside.
The young driver took my bags and we were on the way. The ride to the airport takes about 10 minutes. During this short ride, the driver managed to get in to piss fight with some taxi driver. They were cutting off each other. It was scary. WTH? You have a customer on board.
That's another reason why I wont stay at Suvarnabhumi Ville hotel ever again. It shows you what type of people they pick to work for them.

April 25 2017
BKK - MCT
Oman Air
WY818
Boeing 787-8
A4O-SY
Seat 4J
Actual flying time 5:38hrs

As I was terrified after the ride, I've asked the driver to drop me off at the door number 1. From there I had a long hike to Oman Air's check in desks. That's ok, walking in the terminal was much safer than riding with that maniac.
There was no line for business class desk and within minutes I had my fast track pass, two lounge invitations and boarding passes for both legs of my return flights.
Thanks to the fast track pass I was airside 10 minutes after checking in at the desk. Then I started searching for the lounge.
Oman Air lounge is located at the entrance of the concourse. I had to wait in line for few minutes as there were people buying lounge access for 1500 Bahts per person (around $40). The lounge itself has two rooms, one with a lot of seating area and one with some seating areas and food and drinks.
I've stayed in the part with the food.

Food selection was ok, nothing earth shaking.

Booze selection wasn't as extensive as Turkish's lounge in Istanbul, but it wasn't bad.

I've helped myself with some finger food and glass of black JW. While I was pouring the drink I was being watched by few Omani man in traditional clothes. It felt really uneasy. Probably in their heads I was already burning in hell (or whatever place they believe at).

After one drink I didn't care anymore what those people thought Made one more drink before I headed out to look for the gate.

The gate was at the very end of the concourse. It was already open. After the passport and ticket check, you are allowed to go downstairs to the holding pen. Soon after the business class was called for boarding.
When I've entered the plane I saw completely different business class cabin. Then I realized that this is one of two ex-Kenya Airways B787s on the lease.

The seats on this plane are decade behind the current product. We will see how it goes.

I was welcomed by Thai based crew. I've got my amenity kit, menu card and my drink order was taken. I've got the champagne.

Before the departure, flight attendants made rounds around the cabin with box of dates and Arabic coffee.
Safety demonstration and we were on our way to Muscat.

About hour and a half, breakfast service commenced. My table was made and I've got yogurt, some fruits and a butter(?).
Smell of the fresh pastry filled up the cabin. Since I don't eat yogurt and I'm not a fan of fruits on the plane, I will have some pastry products. Maybe the butter was for that?

I've waited and waited and waited. About 20 minutes later I've asked FA if they have any pastry to go with my butter. She was embarrassed. Right away she brought me a plate with some pastries, which is what I ate.

After the breakfast service was done, she collected the dishes and I haven't seen her again for another hour.
3 hours into the flight I actually walked to the galley and asked if there is a chance of getting something to drink. In the first 3 hours of the flight I haven't been asked even once if I would like to have anything to drink with my food (besides the pre flight drink).
If I didn't have bottle of water I would have asked them for drink earlier.

I've got glass of Chivas 12 with Coke and glass of water. Watched couple of shows and wanted to take a nap.
Those seats were terrible to sleep in. I'm over 6 feet tall and I couldn't sleep straight. I had to scrootch on the side to fit.
After 45 minutes of tossing on both sides I gave up and watched more shows.

To get a drink I had to walk to the galley and request one.
About 1.5hr before our landing the lunch service started.

First the pre appetizer.

After that I've got traditional Arabic mezzeh.

Then it was time for Omani hospitality, flavors from the sultanate, which consisted of sauteed prawns on tomato ragout with Arabic spices, saffron scented rice, chunky cut grilled vegetables with herb and citrus olive oil drizzle.

Not the best lunch I had on Oman Air, but it wasn't that bad.

For the rest of the flight I was watching the sky.

We've landed right on time and taxied to remote stand. From there we were picked up by the bus and taken to the same old terminal.

It's been long overdue to finish my trip report. I will try to do it today.

April 25 2017
MCT - MXP
Oman Air
WY143
Airbus A330-200
A4O-DF
Seat 15A Business Class
Actual flying time 6:52hrs

After being dropped off at the old terminal, I've walked towards the transit section. Again, special line for business class passengers. This saves good 20 minutes.
I went to the lounge and was informed that my flight will board from the gate, not from the lounge like last time. That's ok. The lounge was packed. I've walked around and not seeing any free seats, I've decided to go outside and check out the terminal.

Past the duty free shops, there is Irish Pub. I walked inside and there was absolutely nobody inside. Just the bored out of his mind host. All the people walking in to that pub were actually going to a smoking lounge which you can access only going via the pub. It was funny to see packed smoking lounge and not even one guest in the pub.

Finally I've walked to the gate area. There was huge line for document check. When was my turn, the guy checking my passport and ticket gave me that stare. I don't know if he's not fond of US passport holders, but he was definitely very cold towards me (and not to other people).

Gate area was packed. Hardly any seats left. After about 30 minutes they've announced the boarding via bus.
I was probably half way in the queue. When it was my turn to show them my ticket, gate agent said that if I wait 15 minutes they will take me in a separate bus. I've politely declined, as I wanted to be early on the plane, to be able to take pictures.

When on board, I was invited to my seat. Thankfully this aircraft had new configuration, with new seats. So 3 out of 4 flights.
Immediately I was asked for pre flight drink, was handed a menu, and was given that nice amenity kit. (It's very popular with females in my family)
I've noticed right from the start, that this crew really paid attention to details and that this flight will be much nicer, comparing to my previous leg.

I took some pictures through the windows of taxing or parked airplanes. We were given wet towel, Arabic coffee and a date (the fruit). Minutes later we started taxing for departure, during that time lunch orders were collected.

This time we were departing from runway 08L.

After departing towards East, we've made sharp left turn and the aircraft took heading to Milan.

As soon as we've climbed high enough, drink service started along with pre appetizer.

The table was made and appetizer arrived. Sorry I don't have menu from this flight because right before the landing flight attendant came and grabbed it from every seat.

For lunch I've picked seafood selection. It was a shrimp and fish. Lunch was very good.

After the lunch I've watched couple of shows, set the inflight moving map and went to sleep.

This seat was definitely much better for passenger comfort in comparison to the ex Kenya Airways B787-8.

I slept almost four hours. Took a stroll around the cabin. Most of the people were still sleeping. When I was passing by the galley, one of the FA's asked me if I would like to have a drink. Don't mind if I do. So I've got another Chivas with Coke

I had to take a picture when we were flying above Serbia. For some unknown reason, cities in Poland were showing up on the map. The funniest thing was, that one of the cities was my place of birth

Light dinner was served about 1.5 hour before the landing. I had pulled chicken panini. It came with some cake.

Shortly after they've collected the plates, we started our descend into Malpensa airport.

This flight was very smooth and enjoyable. Too bad that it ended so soon.

After arriving at MXP, there was a long walk to immigration. However, the immigration part took only 5 minutes. Pretty efficient. Then another 15 minutes waiting for my bag and I was land-side.

This time I was staying at Hilton Garden Inn, which requires to take a shuttle. I've booked it 4 months ahead, and for my room I've paid only 42 Euros. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Before I went to wait for the shuttle, I wanted to change some US $ into Euro. I went to the first exchange place. The rate on the board was showing something around 90 Eurocents to a $1. That's fine, I'll change $100. I was asked for passport, then I had to sign 6 pages of some documents and the guy gave me 60 Euro. WTH??? The guy said that they are charging 30 Euro as an exchange fee!!!!!! I've told him that I don't want to change the money in this case.
He said too late. I've signed the documents. I'm still mad when I think about it. However that's my fault for not reading his essay which I was given to sign on each page. One word for them - THIEVES!

Mustard after lunch. Lives go on. I've got to the shuttle point and after waiting about 30 minutes no shuttle (shuttle supposed to be at T1 quarter after every hour). I've called the hotel and they've told me that they are sending the shuttle now. An older couple was waiting for the shuttle to Hilton Garden Inn as well. They've been waiting for over an hour. On the phone I found out that the shuttle runs on request only. If I wasn't going to the same hotel, they probably would wait much longer.

The ride to the hotel took only 10 minutes. At that time it started raining. After checking in to my room, I've decided to go downstairs to the bar and have a drink. It was after 9pm, and I wasn't sleepy nor hungry. In this case, the only logical thing to do was to have a drink in the bar
Maybe hour later I went back to my room and tried to catch some zees.

MXP - EWR
United Airlines
UA18
Boeing 767-400
N76064
Seat 28K E+
Actual flying time 8:48hrs

My flight was departing from Milan at 10:30am. I've got to the airport shortly before 8am. Then I started searching for a check in desk. Finally when I found it, I saw lane of about 1000 people. What's going on? Around these people were armed military or police officers with machine guns. That was little intimidating.
I think at 8:30am the lane started moving. I had to walk through a long maze of ropes, to finally arrive at the US airlines check in counter space. The only check in desks in that location were for Delta, United and AA.
Didn't have to wait long to check in and to drop off my bag. Then long walk back to the security screening. They have separate entries for passengers flying to USA and Israel. Surprisingly, security check took only 5 minutes.
Since I didn't have breakfast in the hotel, I went to some coffee shop. Got some nice coffee, sandwich and couple of chocolate croissants for the road.

Before the boarding started, I've visited the bathroom one last time. Smell of the piss was as strong as on every other of my visits. I don't understand this.

My seat was in Economy+ section, emergency exit row.

The male flight attendant who was occupying jump seat in front of me, was not the friendliest person on that plane. I'll leave it at that.

After on time take off, and reaching cursing altitude, drink service started.
The lunch offerings were standard, chicken or pasta. I've got the chicken.
But before opening the cover, I started reading content. Holly cow.
This prepared meal had 1 year warranty. Expiration day March 2018. That's exactly 11 months ahead.
The E1442, with E451 and E331 flavors really complemented this meal(!)

In short summary, this meal was disgusting. The chicken and spinach(?) inedible. Tasted like crap. I just poked on some chicken and moved to stale bread roll.
At the end, only green part of the salad was eatable.

I was happy that I actually ate before this flight and that I had some pastries in my backpack.

After the meal I've got coffee. Another laugh.

"UNITED - Taking premium coffee to new heights.
Because we care about every ounce of your travel experience"

I think this meal was in top 3 worst meals that I ever had on a plane.
I didn't expect much, but not this bad.

Before arrival at Newark, dinner service consisted of tiny muffin.

Plane landed on time. It took 5 minutes to clear the customs (Global Entry), then about 20 minutes waiting for my bag so I could re-check it to DCA.

I had to change terminal from C to A. I've decided to go outside. Still had 3 hours to kill.
Took the train to terminal A and had coffee in the local cafeteria.
Since there was nothing else to do, I've decided to go to the gate.
There was only one TSA screening lane open and a lot of people. If you had TSA Pre they let you keep your shoes on.
Other than that the wait was very long.
The gate area was a zoo. 500 people and 200 seats. The only other option was to go to the lounge.

I was surprised when I've walked to the lounge. Last time I was in this lounge it was back in 2011 going to Milan via YYZ. Looks like the lounge was refurbished and now it was more spacious and more inviting.

About 15 minutes before the boarding I went to the gate and saw that my plane was delayed 30 minutes. But the good thing was that I was able to find empty chair.

The flight to Washington was uneventful. At the baggage claim I didn't see my bag on the carousel (all passengers from my flight collected the bags and left). I went to the missing bag office to report my case and then I saw my bag inside of the office. I've asked them how come they've removed my bag from the carousel? The simple answer was that my bag arrived on an earlier flight. (???)

Got Uber and twenty minutes later I was back at home.

To conclude my trip. We had good time. Oman Air flights were awesome (except for the one on ex Kenya bird). If Oman Air will have deals from Europe to SE Asia in business class, I will definitely fly with them again. Oman Air service was great.

As for United. What can I say? They always find a way to disappoint you.

Again, I'm sorry for taking this long to complete this TR. But since I started writing it, I've been to Europe twice and went to few other places in US (all for work).

Thanks for reading, and I hope that my TR gave you some idea on Oman Air product and service.

Thanks!

This time we just got chicken knees as appetizer and fried fish. Total 310 Bahts (about $8). I never had chicken knees, but they were actually pretty good.
In South Africa, there is a delicacy named "Walkie Talkies". Basically chicken feet and heads.
I am still not sure if they clean the toe nails before cooking............

In Thailand I've seen a lot of places selling chicken feet. They are very popular among the local population. In a soup, deep fried and grilled. I never pulled the trigger and got one
