NRT-LHR ANA's new F class trip report with photos
so after nearly half a year, I finally decided to write another trip report complete with photos. I kind of put it together in a hurry, so sorry if it's not up to my usual standards.. =P
But anyways, I thought this trip was worth writing a trip report for, as it's on ANA's new F class product.. so enjoy!

Thank you for another great report, Terence!
You really have set the standard for Photo Trip Reports! It's great to have you back in Trip Reports again!
Have you got any trips to Africa or South America coming up?!

Wonderful pictorial report. I have become sort of a fan of your reports.
Were those new J class seats as well?
The fuzzy pictures, you can circumvent them by 1) using flash - but the color won't be natural or 2) use a tripod - but pretty weird to do that in the cabin, or c) take pictures only when there is sufficient lighting.
Otherwise an almost perfect report.
Cheers!

Thanks for the superb and informative narrative and photos, Terence.
The photos help make it clear why the cabin seemed less open -- the seats take up a lot of room!
Now that you've flown in the cabin, what would be your preferred seat? For example, in CX, my choice is row 2 on the right side (2k), because it has the greatest distance from other seats and does not have the claustrophobic effect (for me) of 1a/1k. But on the NH configuration, it's not clear to me how close row 3 would be to the center seats.

Very nice report!
The last few NEX green cars I took had very private 1+1 seating arranged diagonally (somewhat like the ANA suites ). I wonder which is the newer standard.
The advantage of NEX green cars is the legroom, in regular cars one has to remain very upright not to cross feet with his seat opponent.

Interesting report, thanks for taking the time to write it.
I have a couple of comments.
I have my own pair of Sony Noise Reduction headphones & the NR circuitry is in the ear piece itself.
I flew JAL F a few weeks ago, LHR - NRT, KIX- LHR & they did give out filled amenity kits & very good they were.
I agree about the formality of Japanese FAs'. My wife & I were served by the Purser exclusively on the return trip & she was very formal, whereas the younger FA's who served us on the way out were more relaxed.
