They work like that in LHR too, with the same bad attitudes as well. It is amazing to me that such a quality airline as CX would trust BA personnel to handle their passengers.

I wrote to CX to get a reimbursement for the taxi I took from JFK to LGA, and I got a very nice reply from them. Here is the content of the letter"

Thank you for your letter received on January 9, 2003.

We apologize for the circumstances that prompted you to write and have asked our Finance Department to send you a check for USD25 to reimburse you for the transportation charges from JFK to LGA. You should receive this check in 2-3 weeks.

Again, we are sorry that you were inconvenienced as a result of the flight cancellation and hope that future flgiths on Cathay Pacific will be incident free.
