Saw Jack Black at SFO!!!
 

Flew yesterday from SNA to SFO.

I was scheduled to fly home in the evening, but since business concluded early, I called UA 1K desk and said "Please put me on the 1:35pm flight asap, and in first class too!"

When I got to SNA at 12:30pm, the airport was jammed. The check in lines for SNA were once again packed. The First class line took 20 minutes to process, and a lot of passengers were wish that SNA had the UA easy check-in terminals.

However, once I got checked in, I went to the NEW priority line - no wait!! The regular security line looked like a Disneyland Space Mountain ride line. It was great http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

The take off was spectacular at 1:40pm - a fully loaded A319 at full throtttle taking off at SNA is fun, especially when you are seated in Row 1.

I enjoy the roller coaster ride, and the short flight is very enjoyable. The FA was a senior employee, and was very very kind and professional. One of the male FA's was obviously very happy, as he was singing in the galley.

We land at SFO 10 min early, and as we get off quickly.

Walking to the RCC to get a quick bite before I head home, I see one of the passengers shake hands with Jack Black!! He looks just like he did in the movie "Orange County". Our eyes meet but I didn't do or say anything. I am not the type to go up to any celebraty and say anything.

I check into the RCC, grab a few drinks and snacks, enjoy a few minutes of down time there, use the LOVELY restroom, and then head out for home.
