Get Miles for TRip Reports
 

I don't know how many would be interested, but some info (like about hotels and restaurants and activities) from these trip reports can be posted online at igougo.com and they will give you airline miles for posting.

The deal is they want real experience trip reports for the online general public to read.

Also, they will host your trip photos as well.

Here is an example on a trip report I posted on FT with just a link over to IGOUGO. If I had more to say about the plane trip over, I would have posted more of a trip report here, but I was Coach on CX - which I will never do again - per recommendations from non-FFs who said that CX was wonderful "even in Coach." Let's just say I've been pampered by AA's legroom and have posted many times since that I honestly thought that the airline should have been paying me.

At 1000 points a trip report/journal entry it will take a while to get the 25000 points needed to tranfer them for 5000 AA miles. Yet being the mile junky that I am I of course signed up http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif .

I agree, CX in economy is so **** crowded, seat by seat, especially if your aircraft is a 74B or 74Y, big coach seats and limited J seats. I mean who would want to fly in that big coach class for the routes like HKG-LAX. The time that I fly on July 30th, CX 882, even one toilets had broken down, anyone in emergency can't wait that long just go to the toilet at the front in J class. They never mention any plans to make better economy, just all the things about business, never appreciate economy passengers, only mention about the personal tv in economy and that's all about it. The only thing I like is about the food. But you have to wait for your food forever if you sit at the front part of economy, there is only one FA takin orders for both food and bererages in each aisle for rows 30 to 52.

1,000 is just the beginning. Extra entries and pics really help to pile on those pts.

And, there are other ways, like bonus pts every time anyone views an entry in your journal, doing a journal for a place with less than 5 journals already written about it, adding your pictures to the gallery, and is it still 750 pts(?) for referals. I have used up all my referals, but maybe if others are signing up to post journals (free), they will email you and let you refer them http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
