Hotels at NRT

Looking for recommendations of which hotel to stay in at NRT.

Any advice?

The Rhiga Royal is now a Hilton I believe and is quite nice. I have used the Radisson several times and have no complaints - It is where NW puts their crews - It is a bit further from the airport (15 min-20 min drive) but the courtesy vehicle seems to run frequently enough. I have also used the Nikko Narita, not to be confused with the Nikko Winds Narita. If you use the Nikko , ask for a room in the new tower/section. The only hotel that I have used at Narita that I did not like was the ANA - very small room , little A/C - What airline are arriving/departing on ? JAL has a check-in at the Nikko and ANA has one at the ANA. Hope this is helpful

We had a 15 hr. or so overnite layover between flights at NRT a couple of years ago and stayed at the Holiday Inn NRT. It was fine and as I recall one section had been recently remodeled. The rate was about $110 which, by Tokyo standards, wasn't too bad.

This year you can easily get under 7000 Yen (or about USD60) for a similar quality hotel at NRT. I like the Tokyu (across from the Hilton and much cheaper, almost as good) but most of the NRT airport hotels are similar.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn on an overnight transfer from Seoul. Paid 6000 Yen a night. The hotel is nothing to write home about, but for 6000 Yen is excellent value for money. On the way in, I stayed a few days at the PHT, in one of their suites. Big difference, 10x times the quality for 10x the price!

If you are staying for as little as 24 hours, stay in Tokyo. That opens up an entirely new range of possible hotels. My experience with a 26-hour stay.
