10 Hours at HKG
 

Looks like about a 10 hour layover flying YVR-HKG-DXB.

Hang out at The Wing, or get a hotel?

Will appreciate any advice.

Go downtown (Kowloon) and check out Nathan Rd. and what it has to offer. Grab some dim sum for lunch/dinner/breakfast.

It's easy to get downtown. Just use the airport express, it costs only $10 RT (if I remember correctly.)

Oh yeah, enjoy the Wing too!!! You can watch movies, shower, etc..

Lots of tips on HKG in previous threads in General Travel as well as this Forum (Vulcan's recent trip comes to mind).

In any case, as nice as the Wing may be, getting out of the airport is certainly my recommendation. Getting to/fr the airport will take one hour for the round trip max (assuming a modest wait time for the once-every-10-minute express train), so you have a solid day to check out the sights, walk around, and grab a good (but pricey, as everything is in HKG) meal.
