Well done!!!

Most importantly, your fiancee will always be able to tell her friends:

"My husband flew me to London to propose!"

(Believe me, it's been 2 years since I proposed there and I still get mileage out of it).

Best wishes and good luck during the planning (you'll need it).

Greg

Congrats, BB! Dern clever way to go about it, as well.

Now you just have to do like I do and 're-pop' the question each time you take her on an overseas flight. If the wrong answer is given... well that hasn't happened! (Just be sure you're holding the tix. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif)

Cheers,

Does United offer escorted F and C boarding for international flights at the Boston RCC? That is a favorite of mine when going to Australia at LAX or SFO, because you avoid the situation where Y passengers and luggage bump into you if you are in an aisle seat.

This might sound a bit peculiar, but may I suggest that you send a letter to UA describing how you two were "United in London"...

Who knows, they might want to use your story in an ad promo....."United in London" has a certain "ring" to it...

And congratulations on the engagment!!!!

Congrats indeed, BostonCouple! I can't believe you pasted my Chat comment! (And without even much of a pause in the Chatting!)

After I proposed to my wife (on paper = legally married but no ceremony yet) in Guam (and after getting the requisite teary-eyed "Yes"), she asked me if I'd been nervous. I asked her to propose to me, and it took her 10 minutes to work up the nerve!

With our ceremony coming up next weekend, I second the wishes for "Good luck during the planning." Man-oh-man!!
