Also, try not to show the SIN SKL lounge agents your UA *G card as they might direct you to the Krisflyer Gold (or some other lesser lounge) meant for *G flying economy class. Show only the BF boarding pass.

Very nice TR! Looking forward to the rest. And congrats on reaching lifetime GS! That's incredible. Also, I was about to report, as Kacee said, UA BF bp as a *G would have been enough for SKL. I tried it once (when not flying SQ) using NH J bp as a *G.
Quick question: very curious to know, for the same flight, do you credit to UA for PQMs/RDMs etc. and simultaneously to SQ for the PPS club value/PPS status? I read somewhere in FT that you can do that, but not sure how? I suppose your FQTV should read your UA details and FQ** should read your SQ details? I'd assume it requires some special skills on the part of the check-in agent to do that!

Just a quick clarification here, which can be important if anyone who's reading this wants to access the SKL . . . . The SKL is not a *G lounge, it is a business class lounge, and they will not grant access based on *G status. Instead, they allow access based only on a business class (or F) boarding pass on a departing *A flight.

I believe what AvidFlyer1990 and the rest were posting is entirely correct.
A Business or First Class Boarding class for a Star Alliance operated flight should get you into the SKL. According to my conversation to the SKL lounge dragons, access is permitted up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

You HAVE to be traveling in J, on a *A flight to access SKL J lounge/or F to access SKL F lounge.
The reason I mentioned about the *G status is this: I was denied entry into DXB LH lounge with an AI J boarding pass, and was explicitly stated that I have to be *G in addition to flying in J, for me to gain access to the LH DXB lounge. I didn't argue much, as I already had access to AF, KL and an AI 3rd party lounge (which was a pretty poor, generic, and an extremely crowded lounge, if I might add)!

SKL Lounge Access using J Board Pass
The reason I raised the Silverkris Lounge access matter was because the check in agent told me that I cannot use SKL. I have always used SKL at T3 when flying UA J. I was under the impression the T2 SKL is small and based on my own experience, it has always been quite full in the morning.
I did not try to use the T2 SKL because I wanted to get to the UA gate for the inaugural flight ceremony. I will try using SKL next time.
