The DCA-BOS flight in domestic First was a standard affair. Nothing particularly exciting, but I did appreciate the purser passing around the snack basket TWICE.
Watching the AA planes pull into position around DCA was a pre-departure treat.

We arrived in BOS and headed straight for the BA lounge. Unfortunately the BA lounge did not open until 4:10pm, so we waited around for about half an hour.
Spotted two heavies parked just outside the elevator to the lounge.
To the right-side of the lounge was the First class sitting area, buffet, and pre-flight Concorde dining room.
F-lounge seating areas. Cushions were a bit tired looking.
The Concorde pre-flight dining room used an interesting jail-cell like partition construction.
I suppose it worked for its intended purpose, giving some separation to the dining area.

Buffet area
Mini-sandwich selection: roasted sirloin of beef, smoked gouda, crispy shallots, horseradish mayo; Serrano ham, manchego cheese, olive tapenade; Shrimp Caesar salad; cheddar cheese, ripe tomato, caramelized onion chutney.
The sandwich descriptions sounded great in theory, but honestly the Club World sandwiches on the other side tasted better. I ended up raiding the CW food area while waiting for the Concorde dining room to open.

Great trip outline.
The US agents were the best for these outrageous routes
Can't wait for the rest of the trip.
How did you get it for 120k?
I thought F class to Japan was 125k then on the old US chart
(I know I did a 110k US trip once via EU to Japan but that was *A bz class with a stop)

The destination was Xi'an, China which counts as North Asia so 120K was correct I think.

If instead you take a left past the lounge welcome desk, you come to the Club World section with a similarly fenced off dining area.
Their sandwiches were better than the F ones, so I stole a couple.
Adobo chicken, avocado; Prosciutto, fig spread, gorgonzola; Tandoori salmon, tzatziki sauce, baby spinach; Grilled sesame tofu, julienne vegetables, sesame dressing.

Was impressed by the plating and complex menus for Club World. If I weren't flying First, I would've been perfectly happy snacking in CW.
Club World Salads: red quinoa salad, vegetables, curry raisin vinaigrette; baby tomato, basil, mozzarella salad; roasted corn salad with lime chipotle dressing; iceberg, bacon and creamy bleu cheese dressing salad; smoked rainbow trout, watercress, and horseradish cream salad
Out of the Oven: braised chicken, peppers, corn and tomatoes; honey rosemary flank steak, roasted shallots, jus; baked cavatelli, tontina cream
Dessert:White wine poached plum, vanilla cream; blueberry ricotta parfait
