Thanks DanielW for the awesome report!

The same ET 777 (ET-ANN) flew me from GRU to ADD last June.

Yep... they were still alive. Animal welfare is an unknown concept in most of Africa... but that surprised even me.

What said Einstein? Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Wow! I am pleased to have witnessed your trip as I'm sure I will never take one so adventurous in my lifetime. Thank you for taking the time to post maps as this area is unfamiliar to me.

Very cool report! I felt a little like you must on these trips this past week. I just returned from a week in Egypt. I didn't feel quite as bold at taking photos of people as you are (I feel like all of them would want tips for it in Egypt), but those countries sure are fascinating. Stay tuned for a TR, once I get the time to sorting out the photos.

Thank you, chongsss, good to know they use it for much longer flights than ADD-DXB.

Thanks, steveman518. You'll have to see if Jordan/hauteboy has room for one more on his next Africa trip for you.

Cheers, halfcape. This TR took a bit more work to finish due to the length but am glad to see it all come together.

Yes, I can understand shooting a bird for dinner, but shooting a Jackal?!?!

Very 'fresh' is probably a better word than 'alive'.

Like the time our driver in Niamey tried to feed the Ostrich a plastic straw!

Thanks, Nepasser. Got a cheap $180 ticket to Beirut so off to Lebanon for the first time in 6 weeks.

Many thanks, mary_228. Yes, hopefully the maps help to orientate and organise the story a bit more.

Cheers, krazykanuck. Yes, Egyptians can be very aggressive for this, almost to the point of being scary. I generally don't pay for photo's, unless its something like a street entertainer/performance or something. I really don't want to encourage this sort of thing. Looking forward to the Egypt TR.

A fantastic report as always. Very enjoyable.

Thank you, Derrico. My name and DOB are elsewhere too, but details like my passport number are hopefully obscured.
I believe the photographs of your visa have included your passport number (no de passeport). It is also encoded along in the alphanumeric string on the bottom line.

Thank you, Calchas. Should now be fixed.
