And, of course, Jersey is a lovely place to visit (not just for drinking). :D

The lounges at LGW (and JER) really need bringing up to the current standard. I guess BA are awaiting the rumored move to the South Terminal before committing to anything. Enhanced food offerings at LGW would be an easy fix, as a full kitchen setup isn’t required – many lounges operate from small kitchenettes utilising outside catering.

Some great photos from Jersey, in particular the night time ones. I've only visited Jersey once, but it was many years ago now, and I'd like to go back. I do wish BA operated a service from LHR (or even LCY), as LGW is very out of the way for me!

As a postscript to the jersey do, for those of you who were in the LGW FLounge on the Saturday morning you will remember how busy it was and how I didn't help by dropping a bottle of champagne on the floor which took several members of staff to clean up. I had only managed one glass of champagne at the time so it wasn't because I was drunk. Anyway, this morning is my first FLounge visit since then and so I bought some chocolates from duty free and have handed them to the staff by way of an apology. Karma has been restored.
