Amazing post eightblack. You (almost) had me at Jeremy Clarkson.
I was not aware of a Japan DO existence until 10 minutes ago and it's a bit too late for making these plans now (or is it)? Any idea when and where is the next one being organized?

Is a hook turn that bass ackwards maneuver where you make a turn from the left lane by pulling into the intersection and playing chicken with oncoming traffic until you can cut everyone off and complete the turn?

Ahhhh, this reminds me of "My Big Night Out" with the the head of the Chinese Mafia who took me to numerous Hostess Clubs that he owned in Taipei. Definitely the best story of my life - and totally true.
Unfortunately, I can't make the do, because my goldfish ate the dog and is now on the run with my passport and credit cards.
Looking forward to the report.

Excellent. As one of the non-traveling organizers of the Do, I'm looking forward to everyone's TRs. (However, I'm not sure if I should be afraid that I'll live on in infamy in one of eightblack's...)
Looking forward to seeing all of you there! 東京へようこそ!
