Food is a highly individual thing so take my comments with a healthy grain of salt. For starters I thought the caviar was excellent every time and a real treat to have. In terms of the rest of the food, breakfast was a real let down, ranging from below average to inedible. The other meals mostly fell between "good" and "very good", and only one or two dishes on the entire trip were "excellent". I didn't think that any of the food was at the same standard as what you could get in a reasonably priced restaurant on the ground. Having said that, I still thoroughly enjoyed mealtimes as it was part of an excellent experience overall, helped by the elegant table setting, the wonderful wines, and the surrounds of the suite.

Nothing terribly original in this comment...just remarking on what a spectacular TR it is with gorgeous photography to match. Emirates First and Easyjet on the same trip... I like how you guys roll!

Once again, a terrific trip report with lovely photos and descriptions. I am truly looking forward to sampling several long-haul segments in EK First later this year. Thanks for whetting my appetite.

wwnz – Thank you for a great TR incl. fantastic photos and photosynths.
Could you please post about the F/F points, Miles Accelerator bonus, tier status etc. earned on a trip like yours.
With 150% bonus miles in F you must have ticked up a good deal of points on your FF account.
From 31 March 2013, when QF and EK starts codesharing flights, this could translate in to some opportunities across the Tasman.
