Nice report. You have me so inspired for my UA F trip to South America next week.

That's because it was only your second time on UA. For regular UA fliers they are par for the course. On TATL we fly LH C and their crummy seat in order to avoid the abysmal service on UA. Sad but true.

HIDDY, pics are not showing again in the first post at the top. :(

Great rest of the TR, however. The UA F seat looks very comfortable! ^

Agree completely! Just flew from S America in C with a crew that was downright hostile...

Nice report. Your experience of the service reminds me of when i was in first class and wanted some water during the night. I went to the galley and the flight attendant watched whilst i poured it and then chastised me for pouring from the crews bottle of water.

I'm flying them in lowly Business class in 10 days time, i hope to receive a better level of service than you, especially as im taking my disabled father and he has never flown business class before. (i will post a report)

Thanks....fingers crossed all the pictures are showing up now after some tweaking.

Nice report. Thanks for taking the time to write it up and share.

After one INTL UA flight, you have it pegged just as well as those of us with many under our belts.

New seats are great, including IFE.
Food is OK
Service is wildly inconsistent, usually more toward the mediocre side.

I see the issue with the bags. It makes me tired just looking at them. :D

Great Report, also on the BA side. Too bad UA was a let-down. I've found their London-based crews to be great in J (limited experience).

Photos are showing fine to me.

Hiddy, I enjoyed reading this. An excellent trip report with a good measure of Scots humour thrown in.

Photos look great to me. Your United experience sounds sad, glad the rest of the trip went well. That is a lot of luggage. Thanks for sharing.
