Well, to me, that "suite" looks pretty tight for space :quite claustrophobic in fact. Hopefully it didn't feel that way "in the flesh".
I have flown the SQ suites and it has never felt claustrophobic (in either the single or double suites).
Interesting. Thanks for posting.

Wow the square lives up to its name.
The food looks great. How was the beef? I had Wagyu beef in JAL a few years ago and it was cooked perfectly and tasted divine.

Nice report and great to see the photos of ANA new First Square.
I flew NH C yesterday on the 777 (intra-Asia) and chose the Japanese meal, it it was great! Your photos have made me want to try flying the F Square for one of my upcoming transpac flight if upgrade opportunity (from C to F) exits.

Thanks for the report and the nice pictures!
I do not know what ANA were thinking when they created that "suite".
They essentially hid all the windows except ONE in the "window" seats, with the wall blocking all that space between the seat and the windows. This makes some sense in the aisle seats, but the window seats need the "windows".
It seems like a huge design flaw - I've never seen anything else quite like it!
At least the food was left alone, but they went and changed the dishes to some generic plates and bowls! The older, more traditionally "Japanese" sort were more handsome!

Impressive. I like the look of the 'suite'. Quite understated. Looks a fair bit nicer than the BA New First i tried recently. Makes me wish i'd got that job at NH i interviewed for last year. Then maybe i'd have tried it out already :P

Also, is there a door that closes on the suite?
Can pax order as much or as little as they like to eat or is NH only provisioned to serve one appetizer/one main/one dessert per person per meal service?
