JL ITM-NRT F Solo Seats / HND-ITM Class J
This is a work related trip I fly this routing three times a year, but since I never made a trip report here is the first one.
My work schedule usually comes out about 3 weeks prior. I usually keep the the last week of Feb open until mid-March clear of any work trips until my Tokyo trip gets confirmed.
I went to bed at 1.30am after doing some last minute packing. Then at 6:20am the alarm goes off. I had a hard time getting out of bed, but managed to get out and shower and be ready by 6:40am. We were planning to leave home by 6:45am, but when I was ready dad wasn't finished yet. We ended up leaving at 7:10am oops. We got to the airport still plenty early at 7:40am for a 8:20am departure.
We quickly walked over to the Check-in Counters. We checked our bags in.
Checkin took less than a minute. We were only issued bag tags as we had touch and go boarding pass with our JAL Credit Card.
Checkin hall
Checkin desks for international connections @ NRT
Up towards the departure hall
I still didn't eat breakfast so I walked over to the ANA side of the terminal to buy bread (only bakery at ITM)
I wouldn't mind Tonkatsu 7:50am in the morning (if they were open)
ITM ANA departures hall and NH Elite, *G Check-in
My usual bakery
Starbucks
JAL Departures Hall
OW Emeralds JAL DIA, JGC Premier Security Check

After passing security (which took less than 1 minute) of course no TSA touch my junk
The lounge entrance is just to the left side of security.
After entering the lounge and taking the elevator up. You are greeted by the lounge dragon (or should I say nice attendant who bowed).
Just one photo of the lounge today (as I was starving and not in picture mode yet)
Food section is more important than the lounge seating right ?
Alcohol at 8am? There were tons of people drinking Beer
My aircraft 77W from the lounge

I was one of the last one boarding (no worries about over head space)
Welcome Onboard!
Japan Aviation requires all electronics off until takeoff.

IFE Control Panel
Hallway to Cockpit and Bathroom
Make sure to find this on all JAL flights All the information is there for you
Flight was nothing special and was served Apple Juice and crackers. This was the 7th cracker I had in Feb (7 domestic sectors) and 8th apple juice.
Arrival was on the B runway. We landed at 9.40am (on schedule) parked at gate 63.
This way to baggage claim

After 5 days in Tokyo and finished with work. It was time to go back to Osaka now. I was dropped off at the airport by a nice customer at 3.40pm for a 4.30pm departure
Check-in Desks
Check-in took 30 seconds. I was hungry so off to starbucks for a sandwich.
After getting the sandwich I went past security. After security the lounge is to the right. (sorry for the blurry pictures)
The North and South Side Terminal Lounges are equally big and basically a mirror image of each other.
North Side Lounge
Once the door opens
Up the Escalotor

Once you are at the top the Lounge Dragons are there.
This time Diamond/Premier/OW Emerald Lounge is to the right
and the Sakura / OW Sapphire Lounge is to the left.
Down the Hallway
Turn the corner and the bathrooms
One more turn
Tada Lounge
Had my sandwich with water. (no food photo's this time)
My aircraft to Osaka from the lounge
I left the lounge after 5 minutes to get to the gate early (for another seat swap, but this time failed)
Picture before boarding
Gate 16 and flight information
Stand-by for Class J

Was one of the last to board again
Welcome Aboard
Flight time to Osaka was 50 minutes today. We took off from the new runway opened last year. Nothing special with the flight. I got to see the manifest. All Class J seats except one was filled with JMB Elites.
Some random photo's of the airplane during flight
IFE controller
Drink Cart and Class J
Terrible load today. Class J full but Y was empty
Landed on time (shot right during deboarding.
Bags took 10 minutes to come out.
Thanks for reading this short report. (If you want another similar one in 3-4 months I'll be glad to do it again with different photos)

That's a lot of photos for such a short trip!
Interesting to see this equipment used on a very short domestic sector. Does JAL actually sell F seats on JL3002 ITM-NRT? I know it's operated by a 773 with the solo seats as per your trip report, but on the JAL website it seems only business and economy seats can be booked on this flight number. There are plenty of other flights where F seats can be booked, but they are ITM-HND operated by 777 with a 2x2x2 first class arrangement (no solo seats).
Just out of interest, any suggestions how to book F on JL3002?
