Beautiful trip reports!! I'm glad you have a great flight. I didn't realize know that you were stuck in YXU due to weather conditions. You were stranded for extended days. How exactly you trying to get it back home from YXU-YYZ-YUL-YYZ-YYC? Are you still frequently fliers miles program?
