Wow! I really enjoy reading and seeing all of your photos. What camera and what setting did you use?
Thank you so much for sharing. It was amazing!
I hope I will have a chance to experience Australia and Etihad first class very soon :)

Hi,
for most of the pictures i used a Canon EOS 400D (i think its called Rebel XTI in the USA) for the rest a 4 year old Casio Exilim and my iPhone.
The camera-Setting was of course not the same for all the pictures - for example for the night-shots i used a exposure time of 30 seconds. If you are interested in the EXIF-Data of a particular picture just ask.

Great Trip Report! Loved the pictures and your sense of humor. I must say, seeing your awesome pictures of the suites on the plane will be as close as I ever get to flying in one. Thank you!

A silly question

Thanks for the wonderful trip report!

I will be flying EY from MXP to NRT in F in a few weeks, and you definitely give me a good preview on what to expect. However I have a really silly question!

I have noticed that the menu was bounded in a leather folder. Are you allowed to keep the leather folder or does EY collect them towards the end of the flight? I know it is silly, but just curious? As an airline menu collector, I am more than happy with just the inserts, but if the leather folder will add wonderfully to my menu collection ;)

Look forward to your return portion!

Thanks,
Carfield

Hi,
im pretty sure you are not allowed (or is supposed the right word?) to take the leather folder that contains the menu...;)
...but if i remember correct no flight attendent collected it towards the end of the flight - so you at least have the opportunity.

Have fun in Tokyo - my next trip to Japan is in April.

Great TR. Amazing pictures. They remind me of Australia. I visited most of the same places when I was there 5 years ago.

I am planning visiting Australia late spring, and now after seeing your photos, I can't wait. Unfortunately, I will be flying Continental Business First from EWR.

I personally prefer Etihad over Emirates any day. I have flown them both to Abu Dhabi and Daubi each in business class and there is no comparison. The flight attendants on Etihad are the most professional and friendly of any airline I have flown.

I can't wait for your next posts.

Thanks for the report, I’ve only just had time to read this one.

The lounge in MUC is wholly unimpressive.

From photos, I’m not a fan of the old style EY F seat. The design just doesn’t ‘flow’. The new F suites are much more impressive, and the design appeals to me more.

Impressive roof area on the A346 in place of overhead bins.

Some great photos from Australia.
