New CX lounge in LHR T3

At the beginning of August, we flew through Heathrow Terminal 3. So that means some lounge hopping between the BA Galleries, AA Admirals Club and the Cathay Pacific Lounge.

It was a bit hard to find since not all of the signage has been updated that the CX lounge is now in Airport Lounge Area C:

Here is the sign next to the elevators that bring you up to the lounge:

We only had access only to the Business Class Lounge.

Here is the work area for the lounge:

Part of the food area:

Warm food offerings. I was sad there was do Dim Sum. Instead they offered congee, and the fixings for English Breakfast:

Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of the self-service drinks bar. It had the usual fair on offer including champagne. The BA Lounge didn't offer champagne.

They also offered showers next to the restrooms.

Overall, I wasn't very impressed. It is an improvement over the old lounge simply because the lounge is bigger and has some windows! But still seems small and the food offerings were not interesting. Maybe later in the day the food gets better!

If I had to choose, I would only go to the new BA Galleries lounge. It's huge, has nice food, a kids room, nice views out and is quiet.

The BA Lounge does offer Champagne, you just have to ask for it.

CX New lounge does look nice though... good to see the arrival of BA into T3 has made the other OneWorld airlines (AA, CX) with lounges up their game!

Nice lounge report. Was that all the food available? Seems pretty skimpy for CX.

There is also a noodle bar (window) where you can order fresh cooked noodles along the lines of the wing/pier.

More pictures and information about the F lounge can be found here.

Breakfast? CX's earliest departure is a 12.30 pm flight, with the other three all leaving late evening, so you must have been there quite early / at a time where they were catering for low capacity.

We did visit at 10:30am so it was a little early.

In the old lounge, I used to run by and have some dim sum. I sure hope they bring it back!
