Most delayed flights

While we love to complain about AA, I am glad they don't figure on this list. Now you know who to avoid!

This does not pertain to any specific airline. Nevertheless, instead of closing we will send it to TravelBuzz. There may be other travelers interested in which airline to avoid because of delays

392 minutes? that's nothing.

aa 2312, 4/3/09, pdx-dfw, was delayed 802 minutes, over 13 hours.

scheduled departure was 12:05 pm, actual departure was 1.27 am, according to bts.gov

no i wasn't on it, i just happened to check on a different flight later that day and noticed it had not yet left and still hadn't left later that evening. the seat map around 11pm had about a dozen people on it, which is a little surprising. i would think that they would have reaccommodated everyone on earlier flights. i have no idea why it was delayed 13 hours rather than canceling it.

Maybe those pax were late and thus glad for the delay. :D

Look, I am defending delays, but delays and cancellations are routine. Did AA keep people sitting on the tarmac? I don't know the answer but that is real cruelty.
