Help, baggage
 

So I moved to the USA during the autumn and have decided to return to my native UK. I'm flying from Toledo to Chicago O'Hare and then from there to Dublin and then on to my home city of Birmingham (UK). - It's AA and Aer Lingus. Will I have to recheck my bags at any point on the route?

At the moment I'm debating what to do with my "stuff" and the cheapest way to send it back (just clothes) so was wondering if anyone knew whatr the baggage rules are for these flights - I don' want to be hit paying for the excess baggage on each flight!
