Portions of the post that previously appeared in this space have been deleted. I would provide you with a reason why, but doing so would likely be against the TOS.

Do you have a bigger picture?

No, I'm trying to be my own little spy agency, imagetry analysis department. I do not know the answer hence my consultation with other FTers.

The photobucket link doesn't work for me.

Works for me, but no idea.

Chicago looking south from up the John Hancock Center?

You can see the AON Center and the one that looks a bit like the Chrysler Building in this photo I took facing north east from the Sears Tower. You can also see what looks like Grant/Millennium Park behind them.

I do aerial photography, it is not Dallas or Atlanta.
It's been a while since I have been there, but it looks to be Chicago.

Fraser Sep 25, 2008 12:35 pm

Am 99% sure it is Chicago now, and as I suspected from the top of the John Hancock Building.

Change view to #2.

Thank you!

It is Chicago. The big building is the AON Center (formerly Amoco Building). The John Hancock Tower link above shows the pointy building to the right of the AON Center. That link also shows the short brown building in front of the AON Center (not the wide brown one in the foreground).

We FTers as a whole have tremendous collective knowledge! I know some specialized stuff but not for this photo.

Thank you!

Chicago, looking south down Michigan Ave. Prudential Center and whatever they now call the Amoco building in the distance.
