LAX to BOM Business Class
 

I'm flying business class from LAX to BOM in September. I generally try to fly Virgin Upper Class for this trip but the prices are ridiculous so I'm looking at either Delta 777LR (LAX-JFK-BOM) or BA 747 (LAX-LHR-BOM).

Delta is definitely cheaper and the new 777LR configuration looks good (since I'm flying alone) but I'm biased toward the service, both on the ground and in the air, of the top international carriers like BA.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BA will likely far surpass DL.

lax-hkg-bom (cx) isn't that much more distance than via lhr (~100miles)

lax-sin-bom (sq) is about 1K more
