The shampoo bottle with fingerprints story is a good reason to stay away from that hotel!

It doesn't matter whether it's antibacterial soap, whether or not it's been cleaned by creating lather to break up cell membranes of bacteria, or any other rationalization. It's disgusting to me personally, and I would bet that the hotel isn't lowering its prices to compensate the guests for the inconvenience.

Hi collagen, had a good laugh at your post. You paid for those amenities, you are entitled to them! I do leave the tissue and toilet paper behind (too bulky) -- though on second thought, now that someone has pointed it out, I just might have to take TP with me while in a third world country, esp outside the main cities, since public toilets in those places often do not have any TP.
