I'm flying a LOT less. I all but stopped flying for work (not related to prices; circumstances at work have changed). I burned a lot of miles this year so I've flown quite a bit on leisure, but otherwise very few paid leisure trips (and I used to fly a lot for leisure). That's because of the prices - not just the fligths, but also hotels, etc.

My travel has dried up in the last two months, both personal and business but I'm fine with that as I was actually getting a little bored of it all!

All my company travel has been cut for the rest of the quarter, and it's not looking good for Q4 as well. I had 3 trips scheduled and booked that they made me cancel - I am pretty steamed. With further cutbacks looming, layoff/takeover rumors and a possible disastrous earnings report coming up, my resume is being dusted off.

Personal travel remains on schedule, except now I can't merge the two so I need to open my pocketbook again, and with the higher prices, it's hurting.

I'm still flying a lot. One thing I'm trying to do is reduce my international work travel. I'm sick and tired of missing weekends away from home.

Personal travel is 1 extra trip this year.

Mine has actually increased. And, in some ways improved. It seems as if there really are less leisure travelers adding to the clogged security lines.
