No Ticket or Seat # on an E-Ticket?

Hello,

I purchased an E-Ticket from my travel agent (Aerosvit YYZ-KBP-YVN)

She sent me the e-ticket, which is just text only, it only says my name / lastname, travel agent info, and flight info (airport codes / times / flight numbers)

There are no unique numbers, i.e. a ticket number or something. Also there are no seat numbers either.

She gave me a receipt, which is just a form filled in with a pen.

Will I have any problems with it at the airport?

Thanks.

Welcome to FT! :)

I would call the airline, tell them your flights and name and see if they have a record of you on those flights. If so, ask them to assign seats and give you the PNR (Passenger Name Record). That way you won't have any problems. As long as you're in their system though you should be fine. Enjoy your trip!

Also ask them if the ticket has been issued.

I had to pay a lot of money for this at one time....

HTB.

Also ask for the ticket number so you'll have some additional reference. If ticket number is not available according to the airline, it means your booking has been reserved but your ticket not issued yet.

Indeed.
Without a ticket number, you don't have an e-ticket. Full Stop. All you have is proof of a reservation.

Occasionally hiccups do occur and gate personnel may need the ticket number to look up your ticket.
