RTW ticket

Would the following itinerary be feasible for an around the world ticket?

New York -Vancouver-Cabo San Lucas-Los Angeles-Beijing-Tokyo-Dubai-Cairo-Geneva-Milan-Rio de Janeiro-Buenos Aires-Santiago-New York.

Is it logistically logical to do it the way I planned or did I make some serious geographical errors regarding the sequence of trips?

Any tweaks or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to FT!

Each alliance has its own rules regarding RTW tickets. Some have more than one type of RTW ticket, hence more than one set of rules. The rules may limit the number of segments (total and/or per region), total distance, direction of travel, minimum/maximum trip duration and perhaps other things as well.

So, you'll have to be specific about the kind(s) of RTW ticket you have in mind, the alliance (or other group of airlines; a few groups of airlines that aren't part of a formal alliance also offer RTW tickets) and so on.

Once you have that, since the rules depend on the alliance, you'd do better to post this question in its forum. With over 160,000 members and about ten million total posts, focused forums for different topics are the only way to keep things straight. The oneWorld, SkyTeam and Star Alliance forums are where experts on those alliances' RTW tickets hang out. They're more likely to see your question there than here. For that matter, you may find that an existing post there already answers the question.

(As for total distance limitations: the Great Circle Mapper site is excellent for those calculations.)

I think oneworld is good for you. Also try the other oneworld product that incl other non-members.
