Lights in the Sky

There is a sequence of colored lights on the cabin ceiling that light up when audible dings occur.

It appears that the lights are used to indicate the source event behind a given ding.

- FA call
- Flight Deck call
- Pax call

I am curious what the different colors signify if anyone 'in the know' would care to share.

Green means the cockpit is not "sterile" - this light is off when below 10,000 feet

Red if FA Call Button

This is a general TravelBuzz! type discussion, so let's move it there for housekeeping.

Thanks,

For a second I thought You were going to say something about UFO...

Blue--Passenger call
Red-- FAs or pilots call
Amber--Lavs call

A small blue light at cockpit door in some plane--sterile cockpit.
