Unaccompanied baggage?
Google has not been my friend here!
Doing a MR in the last few days of a US trip later this year.. and would love to be able to hand my suitcase over to an airline in ABQ - head off for a few days Hand-luggage-only travelling.. then pick up the case at LAX and proceed to check in for the trip home.. Before 9/11 I could have just sent the case all the way home.. but that is no longer an option.... Is what I want to do even possible? |

(maybe google is back to being your friend again?) For domestic US shipping (e.g. ABQ to LAX) you would have to use UPS or Fedex, and a hotel or agent as recipient, or pay UPS to hold for pickup. Possible but not cheap or easy (but a lot cheaper than QF or NZ). |
Ah well.... one can HOPE for a simple way to do things... but I must admit I wasn't very confident.. so I've come up with something ELSE that will work.... through the kindness of friends!
Thanks for the advice....:D |
