How to get quickly on and off the plane?

Hi!
I like to arrive only shortly before departure of my flights to minimize waiting time on ground ...especially on duty trips....
Can anybody tell me, which airlines offer good ground services, which really help you to save some time? (travel mostly within EU, sometimes to USA)

Welcome to FT, Floyd26!

I suspect your choice of airport will have more of an impact than yuor choice of airline. The insecurity lines are what really make the difference, as most airlines now let you check-in online, so there's no need to wait at a counter (assuming you're not checking bags).

To get off the plane quickly and out of the airport don't check any bags and get a seat close to the front of the plane.

Checking in on line when possible, and flying first-class and/or having high status can shoot you quickly through security.

Unless you are in international first or biz, luggage is sort of a Catch 22--if you take a carry-on you have to board early enough to find a space to stow it, but if you check you have to be at the airport at least 30 minutes before the flight and wait at baggage claim for your luggage to show up (or not).

Personally, I am happier getting on board first, stowing my carry-on and relaxing with a Bloody Mary. This is weird. I never drink Bloody Marys any other time, but almost always order one before take off, then everyone else in first-class usually follows suit. Guess that is my flying tradition.

Hmmm when I saw the title, I thought how to quickly get from your seat to the end of the aerobridge vv.

I agree with the above poster-get status and sit as close to the door as possible-and do not check bags=travel lightly

Fly LH F through FRA :p

But is it any quicker(LH F)I know it must be nicer but from what I have read you board any time(not in the first group)-but I would love to spend more time in the F terminal than on the plane anyway(Someday ^ )
