While this may not be the most disgusting thing in this thread, it's something that still haunts my dreams.
A couple months ago on an EK flight DXB - CAN in Y, I was in an aisle seat sitting next to a heavily rotund Asian guy. When I say big, I mean I literally was only able to use slightly more than half of my seat as his rolls were pouring over the arm rest. Being an extremely overbooked flight, there was not a single other seat available. He proceeded to constantly munch on the most obnoxiously repugnant snacks and drank a quarter of his weight in beer (He would ask for two at a time). As such, he would constantly let loose some really dank anal emissions. However this isn't the most disgusting part.. what got my goat was that a little while after I eventually dozed off, he attempted to get up and visit the restroom. BY SQUEEZING BY ME. I woke up with my face pressed against his acrid posterior.
I stood by the galley for the rest of the flight chatting with the FAs. A couple said they saw how uncomfortable I looked and they felt really sorry for me. Ever since then I've only travelled in J to Guangzhou.

Every flight people use the tray table to eat. So every flight, there are food particles that fall on it, drinks that get spilled, napkins used to blow noses or wipe kid noses (or the odd diaper change??). So that tray table is swimming with all sorts of bacteria from countless people and the trays are never cleaned either.

This is one of my best/worst plane stories!
I was flying a red-eye from San Francisco to Mexico City shortly before Christmas. I am a girl in my late twenties, and I was seated next to a Mexican gentleman in, perhaps, his late 50s. I fell asleep fairly quickly; when I fall asleep my head tends to nod forward a bit but other than that I stay seated upright and facing straight ahead. I'm not sure how long I'd been asleep for, but I woke up quite suddenly because my face felt VERY hot. As my eyes opened I discovered that the man sitting next to me had unbuttoned his pants, lifted his buttocks off the seat, pulled the elastic waist of his underpants away from his body and was passing large amounts of gas. I was feeling the heat of his farts ON MY FACE.
In retrospect I handled it very poorly, but I was so groggy and confused that I just jumped out of my seat and ran to the bathroom, where I hid for a few minutes. When I returned to my seat he was once again seated normally with his pants zipped back up. I can say that if a seatmate ever burns my face with their flatulence again I will be better-prepared to handle the situation.

I almost had a personal disaster on a flight last year, that would have been the deepest moment of ignominy of my life. Before an early-morning flight from HYD to BOM on IndiGo, I had a breakfast of sambar and idli from the only place open beyond security at HYD. Halfway into my hourlong flight, I felt a distressing looseness in my gut from the breakfast. By the time it reached emergency situation, the seatbelt light was on, and we were descending into Mumbai. Acutely self-conscious of reeking like shart, I was ready to duck behind a service vehicle on the tarmac to avoid befouling myself. By a miracle, I survived the bus to the terminal with gritted teeth and rivers of sweat. I never thought I would be happy to see a Mumbai toilet, but I learned the meaning of salvation when I made it to the bathroom in the terminal. I didn't stray far from the toilets at the Juhu Novotel that entire weekend.

Agreed. But, I'm sure many FT's had seen the extremes - depending on the carrier and FA encountered, some will block passage & insist pax return to the seat & buckle up while others would ask the pax to hurry (and even unlatch the lav door) if the flight is still not on its final approach with wheels down & flaps set, etc.

Yesterday, flying OZ 201 from LAX to ICN, an 11 or 12 year old Chinese boy proceeded to coat his J seat and immediate area with a crazy amount of vomit. Had noticed this boy before we took off off as he was standing on his seat, playing games on his tablet at full volume and yelling at his mom who was sitting right next to him.
About an hour and a half into the flight, as lunch service was underway, four flight attendants, outfitted in plastic gloves and face masks arrived on the scene. I was about 10 feet away but it was making me nauseous too. They applied all types of air fresheners but it only masked the odor. Pretty unpleasant. The little boy took a new seat in front of his mother.
Throughout the flight the mother did nothing. She did not try to help the boy when he was sick and left everything for the flight attendants to do. Even as we were approaching to land at ICN, the boy was up standing on his seat and then walking down the aisle. Nothing from his mom. A flight attendant came running into the cabin and forced the child into his seat and seat belt. She walked past me right as the plane touched down. Crazy.
Felt bad for the FA's on this flight.
