I didn't fly into, but flew out of Serengeti airport back to Arusha. Shade hut, dirt runway, were delayed a sec because warthogs on the runway.

Providencia Island Airport, Caribbean. Tiny open airport with dirt runway and flights only to neighbouring island of San Andres.

Ronneby, Sweden. The passenger terminal is just two little rooms (one for arrivals, one for departures).
Bukoba, Tanzania. Even smaller than than, and when I was there 15 years ago, the airstrip wasn't paved yet, just a dirt landing strip!

A new one for me: Pierre, SD (PIR). Currently just two UA CRJ-200s from DEN. I'm particularly amused by the baggage "claim" which is just a hole in the wall someone shoves the bags through:

That's how it was at Pinehurst Regional Airport (SOP), too.

I posted this upthread, but it bears repeating. This is baggage claim at SFE (Santa Fe, NM):

For me the smallest I´ve flown into:
Lawas, Malaysia (LWY) on a Twin Otter
Marudi, Malaysia (MUR) on an Twin Otter
Tioman, Malaysia (TOD) on a Dash-7
Tokyo-Chofu (RJTF) on a Do228 (scheduled flight by NCA despite RJTF does not have an IATA code)
Bayreuth, Germany (BYU) on a Do228
Mannheim, Germany (MHG) - my home airport - on a Do328

Well, and in case these count, too:
Vaeroy, Norway heliport (VRY) on an AW-139
Penzance, GB heliport (PZE) on a Sikorski S-61
Hong Kong, China heliport (HHP) on a Sikorski S-76
Victoria, BC, Canada heliport (YWH) on a Sikorski S-76

Have flown many many Do228 but am jealous of the AW-139. How long ago was that?

I flew on it in 2010.
But it still operates the scheduled service between Bodo, Norway (BOO) and Vaeroy, Norway (VRY) twice a day (mo-fr) and once a day on sat/sun resp. as the PSO-contract was renewed already once.

This route is not even the only scheduled helicopter service in Europe.
There are a few more and at least one of them is operated by AW-139 as well. You may PM me if you´re interested in these helicopter routes.

Nice. I forgot that closing the airport doesn't mean they stopped the helicopter service. The ferry from Bodo is slow!

The helicopter service is actually the replacement for the Twin Otter flights to the dangerousVaeroy airport (which still exists derelict to date btw.)
