WiFi locations in PHL?
 

I know I saw somewhere on FT a discussion of WiFi sites in various airports. I seem to remember reading about a specific place to sit so you could use WiFi for free in PHL. I have searched.......to no avail! If someone could point me in the right direction 'd be most grateful. Do you think there's any value in starting a thread which lists all the "free" spots in airports? I'm going to be flying UA, but also have a US Club card with a long layover in PHL next week.

I just used the free wireless there a couple of weeks ago. It was in the food court, I'm pretty sure in the main area by the C terminal. I was sitting by the Sbaro. It was a fairly slow connection, but it worked OK. And it was actually a fairly nice place to hang out. PHL seems to gradually be getting better.

You can Google for "hotspot locators". One that works quite well is www.jiwire.com. The listing for PHL seems quite good:

PHL is still dismal
 

I thought the free wifi was in Term B-C in the food court area only and here is the press release. I did not realize it was a only temporary thing. There is no free wifi in Term D and E anymore. It disappeared years ago.
