Your favorite US cities?

So, what's your favorite US cities?

Personally I love New York, San Francisco, and probably my favorite, Washington D.C. - just love the atmospheres in those cities!

But what about you?

10 Surprisingly Wonderful Cities

I enjoy my trips to Chicago, San Fran, Las Vegas, Orlando, Boston, etc., but here (below) are some "sleepers," all which are enjoyable cities for business or pleasure.

Tulsa, OK -- nice airport, good restaurants, nice hotels, clean city.
San Deigo -- Best weather in the world! Nice, easy going, lots to do.
St. Louis -- Best sports city, incredible neighborhood restaurants, lots to see!
Salt Lake City -- pretty scenery, clean, good restaurants, comfortable.
San Antonio -- great weather, nice size, good eats, beautiful women.
Pittsburgh -- downtown has come alive, great baseball stadium, fun city!
Miami -- one of the most interesting, scenic, and fun places (South Beach.)
Boise -- surprisingly modern, progressive, and very clean and safe. Love it.
Omaha, NE -- just like Boise! Fun size, surprisingly good night spots, clean.
Raleigh, NC -- Clean, safe, modern, and lots of high tech upscale companies.

A few honorable mentions: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Seattle, and perhaps...even Dallas.

Boston - culture, unique and interesting, TONS to do, lots going on, lots of people and activities. Beautiful in summer, can be enchanting in winter (going ice skating on the common near Xmas with the lights is great)

New York City - the greatest city in the world! EVERYTHING is here. Landmarks, famous sights and people, great food, the best shows, excellent hotels, just everything.

Seattle - not sure why, I just really liked it. Nice people, nice layout, nice weather (I like anyway), nice atmosphere.

San Francisco - Beautiful landscape, nice weather, all the bennies of Cali but without the freakishness of LA. No wonder its the most expensive real estate in the world

Las Vegas - come on, how can someone not love Vegas? Forget strip clubs and casinos... drive through the valley of fire, up Mt Charleston, go to play pool at 3am on a Tuesday night, take in some of the best shows in the world, etc.

Chicago - lots of history, great food, nice people, great landmarks, nice in summer. Wouldn't wanna live there but its a nice place.

My favorite "sleepers":

Lincoln, NE: Fantastic college town, small and easy to get around, wonderful "small-town-downtown," and most importantly, the Panache Coffee Shop and their incredible Voltaire. YUM!

San Diego, CA: MISSION BEACH!!!

Bellingham & Anacortes, WA: Pacific Northwest towns with the nature, industry and charm I had assumed were gone from America...

Napa and San Francisco and San Diego all come to mind.

Ive always enjoyed Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for the large cities they are.

My "Sleepers" would have to be....

Indianapolis, IN- Great nightlife, Big City Feel, TONS of shopping and dining within a few blocks.

Charleston, SC- Probibly my all time favorite city. All around a fun, historic and enjoyable place to visit.

Why not add Seattle, Denver and LA to complete the "every big city is my favorite city" list?
