Are my figures correct for a Netjet charter?
Flying a CitationX from Seattle to Mexico ( about a 4 hour flight). Besides the original membership fee and the monthly maintenance fee the hourly rate is listed at about $2100 plus tax. So 4 x $2100= $8400...but I assume that one has to pay for the roundtrip whether the plane is occupied or not. So that would be about $17,000....but then if it comes back for you a few weeks later.....add another $17,000...so the total would be about $34,000?
Is this accurate? |

Is this accurate? I think you could do better than those figures with blue star http://www.bluestarjets.com |

Positioning fees are seperate items that will typically be quoted seperately. I remember getting instant online quites that listed the full cost for a planned trip (with specific dates and times), including all positioning, landing and departure fees and taxes. Some companies, such as Lufthansa Private Jet (which is operated by NetJets, too), don't charge positioning fees at all, instead, they only charge a flat rate depending on mileage (sectors) flown.
