Welcome to FT.
Could you at least inform us where are you starting your trip from?

Manila is fairly well served on budget carriers, so you can also try for a cheap fare to eg. Singapore/Kuala Lumpur/Hong Kong and connect on Tiger/Jetstar/Air Asia.

Oasis HK aren't flying yet, so you're not going to get too many experiences. First flights are scheduled for October 25.

if you don't care about mileage accrual, look into some of the travel auction sites. I only know US based ones but would assume there are others to choose from.

Oasis will only fly you to HK. And the airfare from HK to MNL alone will probably be more than 1/2 the fare from LGW to HKG! It will work out cheaper for you to go all the way to MNL than it is to break the fare in HK. Airfares out of HK are expensive.

Best for you to check the newspapers or go to a large TA in London , or anywhere in England like STA or Trailfinders. Sometimes the smaller ones have great deals too.

They would have the best deals and suggestions for you.

Not in these days of cheap travel. Tiger, for example, flies from neighboring Macau to Manila (Clark) for peanuts. But there is the question of how convoluted a routing you're willing to endure to save a few pennies... and is it really cheaper in the end when you factor in all the taxes, transfers, etc.

I don't know about your particular travel dates, but Cebu Pacific often has some decent fares from HKG to MNL. They are just a budget type airline-no premium classes, but they get you from point A to point B.
