i DO judge their removing blankets, (without the purser or fa's permission) it's called stealing; you did the right thing by telling them it was inappropriate.

(i'll let other folks debate the angle that will end up with this thread being relocated again::)

And are the PJs therefore recycled? Eeeeeeew. I know, I know, maybe a silly reaction when blankets are also recycled, but there's just something about wearing someone elses PJs that grosses me out a little! :D

PJs are like amenity kits, yours for the taking. On a recent LH F flight, I didn't even bother opening the package, put it right into my bag. Nice weight to the material, I've used them a few times since.

I dont stare at middle eastern guys, I'll tell you that right now. Am I afraid of terrorists? yes, but I figure if these guys have gotten through security and everything, then our suspicions will fail to produce anything without further suspicious action from the person being observed. My definition of racism involves hate. I would say maybe you're scenario is one of fear more than anything else. Plenty of people stare at South Asians, the majority of which are Hindu, but those staring don't know the difference. Sikhs getting profiled? Fear and ignorance.
