garuda airlines - what to expect
 

hi,


my wife and I will be taking garuda to bali

SIN-Jakarta (Transit) - DPS

- can anyone give an idea of what to expect during the flight?
in terms of service or things to watch out for

- will our baggage be checked thru to Denpasar (Bali) or do we have to go take them out and then check them in Jakarta?
(this is our first trip involving transit)


- lastly, I have heard of exit seats, ( for an asian, I can be considered quite tall - 1.78m) how do I request for this seat? during boarding at Changi?
and does it come with a window view :)


- can I put my normal Gillete shaving blade as part of carryon luggage?
(we are planning to travel very light, and I doubt I will have to check in any big luggage, I think my stuff can fit easily into a carryon)
