Airline A Show on A & E

Has anyone seen this show? Intresting that the cameras are always there when somebody gets pulled off the plan drunk. It's a pretty cool show. What do you guys think?

Believe it's the reruns of the third season .....

with previous seasons thrown in. HOU was added for the third season. IIRC it was LAX and BWI in the first season. Or was it MDW

Now let's see how long before this thread is moved ;) ....

Don't they show ORD or MDW? I see that grumpy blonde supervisor all the time, and I thought that was in Chicago.

Agreed. I think new production of the show was axed recently?

Either way, the show became very bland after awhile. The same drunkards with different stories getting denied boarding. Then, the water works. Then, the police escort off the terminal. Not to mention the idea that Southwest is a horrible airline to fly if any flight interruptions arise.

It's MDW, since WN doesn't fly out of ORD ;)

Here's a list of characters y mucho mas

The last episode (probably a rerun but new to me) I saw last night spent a great deal of time at the Houston Rodeo with one of the riders who flew there on WN

did you see the one on right before it, where the girl that was drunk in BWI kept complaning about how bad southwest was, because she was denied boarding?

I love to watch the emotional roller coaster ride all the drunks seem to take:
1. Polite as they're pulled aside.
2. Denial.
3. Begging & pleading.
4. Waterworks - lots of tears flowing!
5. Snap change to arguementative.
6. Screaming.
7. Cursing.
8. Violence/throwing things.
9. Police arrive.
10. Try different assorted emotions with police.
11. Escorted away by police.
12. Cigarette break.

I swear, it's pretty much like this every time!!

Saw it the first time it was shown. Ya, the complaining by drunks about IDB is a common thread of the show.

A couple of the supervisors are quite hot!
I noticed that, no matter what, they won't offer more than $200 for an IDB. Also, they can't protect on another airline can they? These are two major customer service flaws that most people don't factor in until they get bitten by it.

I prefer the Britsh version. :p They quit showing it when the WN version started showing in the States.

Actually they were still showing the UK version until 6 or 7 months ago. My tivo scooped them up for me. :)

They also had the English version after the first season ended, but somehow it just wasn't the same for me ...

I used to watch Airline, but after a while its style just seemed flippant and annoying. I enjoyed the show Airport (both LHR and MIA) because it provided a far deeper sense of what goes on at airports beyond the humilation of drunken passengers that Airline focuses on.
