List of city pair abreviations?
Anyone have a full list of the city pair abreviations, and applicable cities? eg: CHI (ord/mdw), WAS (bwi/dca), etc?

If you just want to look up airport codes, there's http://flyertalk.com/acl, which is generally pretty good (but pretty basic).
If you mean you want a list of city codes that encompass multiple airports, these work in most reservation systems: NYC (LGA/JFK + usually EWR) WAS (DCA/IAD + usually BWI) CHI (ORD/MDW) DTT (DET/DTW) LON (LGW/LHR/LCY + maybe LUT/STN/MSE?) PAR (CDG/ORY) MOW (SVO/DME) TYO (HND/NRT) These work in a smaller number of reservation systems: QHO (HOU/IAH/EFD) QDF (DFW/DAL) QLA (LAX/ONT/BUR + maybe LGB/SNA?) QSF (SJC/SFO/OAK) Also, some airport-specific codes will sometimes bring up neighboring airports, too. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you want, but here's a couple of links:
This FAA site list every domestic city and not only the applicable airports but such things as navigation aid identifiers. This Bureau of Transportation Statistics site list every airport in the world with any type of commercial service, at least to the U.S., and that airport's identifier. It's quite a long list (over 2000 airports) and isn't searchable, so it's something of a pain to use. Jim |
