Passport Expiring

Hi All
Can someone help me with this question.
I am travelling to Paris this weekend on a European passport which expires July 2006, I have a green card that expires 2012.
Does anyone anticipate any problems on either side, entering the EU (I have EU passport) and returning to the US (have green card)

Thank you
Kasop

I really can't say one way or another but when I was at CDG in February the immigration officer stamped my passport after looking at it for five seconds. I don't think he was too concerned about anything.

I don't think we have a 3 month requirement.

Contact the consulate or embassy?

If you can get a reply from them soon enough for your proposed travel, and have a hard copy to carry with you, it might set your mind at ease a little more...

although different geography, my wife deals with similar circumstances and even with a twist. We travel back and forth bkk-us. She travels with a thai passport and us green card - passport has maiden name and green card has my last name - no problems

Thank you for your replys.

I am not really anticipating any major problems, after all I am not arriving as a tourist in France, as I have european citizenship, and when I return to the US I am not considered a tourist here as I have US residency. From what I understand only tourists need passports that are not expiring within the next 3 months.

All this said I have been to CDG more times than I care to remember and have dealt with Air France for more times than I care to remember and I know how they can be!!!!!

Passport control in CDG is easy, they rarely look at my passport (no stamp required), just the front cover.
