Help for novice needed again

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but hope one of you can help me. Thanks to Flyertalk members, I was able to book four frequent flyer tickets TYS to KOA 6/8 - 6/30. I couldn't have done it without you.

Later, thanks to another post (here I think), my daughter was able to find a marvelous fare ATL to HNL 6/10 - 6/30.

Now, my last kid, 18 and flaky, has decided he also wants to go for part or all of this trip. I have searched for weeks using every trick I (as a total newbie) can think of and can't find a decent fare. Found a couple I wish I had taken in hindsight, but don't even see them any more.

We will be on the Big Island 6/8, Kauai 6/9 - 16, Mauai 6/16 - 6/23, and back to the Big Island 6/23 - 6/30.

I am willing to make him suffer for his indecision by any weird routing or partial routing we can find. He is also willing to come late and leave early as necessary. I don't trust him to get to another airport, however, so he needs to start out at TYS. He can fly into any island as long as I can get him to where we are that night.

I only have enough frequent flyer miles left for a Delta Skysaver in the continental US. I guess purchasing or transferring 7500 miles to get enough for a Skysaver to Hawaii would be another option, should one appear by some miracle.

I know you guys can work magic, so would GREATLY appreciate any help or suggestions you have.

Thanks so much,

Sheila

I'll move this to TravelBuzz on the off chance that anyone can come up with creative suggestions in terms of the mileage-based aspect, but please remember that FlyerTalk is not a travel agency -- your best bet is to contact the airline or a travel agent to help find the lowest fare for a particular trip.

Thanks, Dave. I know that folks here enjoy a challenge and have found them very willing to help in the past. It's sort of a hobby with some, I gather.

I am the same way with timeshares. I've owned enough to consider myself proficient in using them to the max and enjoy helping newbies learn the tricks.

Take care,

Sheila
